All employers have the same recruitment objectives – to hire the best people, as quickly and cost effectively as possible. It therefore follows that employers tend to measure their Quality of Hire, Cost per Hire and Time to Hire, and strive to deliver improvements in each over time. Measuring KPI’s internally in this way is useful in that it shows whether your Recruitment is improving, but there are a number of limitations in measuring performance in this way:

  • It provides no indication of whether performance is “good”, only whether it’s better or worse than in the past
  • It provides little actionable insight into Resourcing strengths and weaknesses.
  • There is inherent conflict in trying to maximise performance in all three KPI’s

Resourcing Performance works with major employers across all sectors, enabling them to better understand their Resourcing capability, when compared with other organisations competing for the same talent.
